Breakfast Meetup: Using Twitter to Support Your Professional Development

  • Thursday, February 08, 2018
  • 8:00 AM
  • Omelets Etc, 2850 S. Academy

Registration is closed

Many prominent learning and development professionals have adopted Twitter to pursue strategic objectives, such as:

  • the discovery of advances in theory and practice, and
  • the development of new connections with far-flung colleagues.

Your PPATD board plans to explore this topic with interested members during 2018, so that we can help each other build effective Twitter habits that support our professional learning objectives.

During breakfast, we'll discuss the "Why" and "How" of Twitter, look at a few examples gathered by a long-time Twitter user, and consider a simple action plan that will help us build momentum and get into the flow.

Together, everyone will help shape a follow-on program with an invited speaker (outside speaker or one of you?) who is an avid Twitter user.

Registration is not required for this first 2018 gathering - just show up. Come prepared to buy your own breakfast. Our purpose will be to discover who's interested while painlessly strengthening our professional networks.

Come to share, question, or simply enjoy being together. If you can't make it, but you would like to receive the handout afterward, just email kittywooley5@gmail.com. See you soon!
